Hi!  My name is Kim, and welcome to my world.....it's a little bit crazy, but I wouldn't want it any other way!

I love all kinds of photography and the arts.  From the time I can remember, I have always had some kind of art project going.  Whether it was taking/teaching dance, painting furniture for props, or taking in Kansas City's rich art culture, the arts have been a vital part of my life.  I don't remember the exact age I picked up a camera (although it was early in life) but I do know that it was seamless, and has always been a part of who I am. 

Some fun facts......I have a passion for my family and friends, traveling, all things creative and anything furry.  My family is the most important part of me.  I have an incredibly supportive husband,  two beautiful identical twin teenage daughters and a wonderful teenage boy. I laugh to the point of tears daily.  They keep me busy with school, horses and horse shows, baseball, golf and living in general.  I wouldn't have it any other way.

I am an animal lover.  At one point our family had 10 non humans in our home (2 guinea pigs, 2 lizards,  2 hermits crabs, 3 fish and our rescue dog Kody).  We also are fully leasing 2 horses at the barn.  I believe pets are family and are an important part of my life.  I love incorporating them into my work.  

I am not your traditional sit and look at the camera and say cheese photographer.  I believe in natural settings, natural light and natural reactions.  I also seriously crave color and strongly believe in thinking outside of the box.

I strive to capture the unexpected and present you with a serendipitous outcome.  

Most important, I am here to make great photos for you and at the end of the day, if you are happy, I am beyond grateful.
